Back to topWhat is BES and what is its role?

If you want to use your Blackberry to work efficiently with a corporate mail server system like Exchange or Notes then it is recommended that B.E.S. is installed to your office mail server. B.E.S. (Blackberry Enterprise Server) integrates with your office mail server so that when a message arrives in your server mailbox it is "pushed" out via O2's Blackberry gateway to your handset. This means that the message arrives on your handset without you actively having to do a check for email.

The B.E.S. option is available as an installable option by 1st Solution.

If you buy 5 handsets in one go the B.E.S. software is available at a discounted price and if you buy 10 handsets or more it is available free*.
